To do so, make your way to the accounts and roles section of the account access page.  Here, you'll see a list of your accounts and users who have access to them. To begin making changes, choose the action you'd like to take found directly to the right of each user.

Mouse clicks on Change access and clicks Start application.

Narrator: For this example, we'll be changing access. You'll then be prompted with further instructions.

Mouse clicks Continue.

Mouse ticks the boxes, agreeing to authorization agreements and clicks Submit.

Narrator: Instructions may vary depending on the action you choose to take, but you'll always receive confirmation after completing the steps outlined. For joint accounts, some actions may require that additional account holders approve the change before continuing.

We've made granting access and authorizations on your account easier.

Schwab's Account Access tab makes it easy to grant access to your account so others can view account activity, trade, or move money and assets. You can also grant View Only digital access to account information, statements, and tax documents without the ability to trade or move money in and out of your account.
