Need to cancel an order you've already placed?
The frame cuts to a full screenshot of the Schwab.com client Account Summary page. Accounts, Trade, Research, Products, Guidance, and Service appear in the main navigation bar at the top of the screen.
Roll over "Trade" and click "Open."
The curser rolls over "Trade," then clicks on "Open" from the dropdown menu in the navigation.
Here you'll see a list of all your open orders.
A new page loads and an Apple Inc. order appears with details listed on the screen.
From this list of all open orders, find the one you're looking for.
The cursor moves across the order page and clicks on the "Cancel" button.
Click "Cancel", review the details, and—if you're certain you're ready to end the order—choose "Cancel Order."
A pop up appears with the title "Cancel Request." Next, the cursor clicks on a green button titled, "Cancel Order."
A new pop-up message appears with "Cancel Request" listed at the top, below are additional details. Next, the cursor clicks "Close."
This process submits your cancel request but does not confirm that the cancellation has gone through.
A new screen appears, and the cursor rolls over "Trade" and clicks "Order Status" from the dropdown menu.
To confirm your order has been cancelled, roll over "Trade" and click "Order Status" to review a list of all your open orders.
